Sean Whitaker is somewhat unique in the world of project management for a number of reasons.

First, he has successfully delivered complex construction, IT/IS, software, organizational change, R&D, urban renewal and telecommunications projects. This means he has a unique insights into the entire profession of project management.

Second, Sean has turned his delivery experience into a successful consulting and teaching career. He has worked with the worlds largest space agency, the worlds largest mining company, and the worlds largest public investment fund to help them all improve their project success rates. He has worked with small and large organizations, well established and startup organizations, complex and straight forward organizations and everyone in between. Sean knows what good project management looks like.

He is also a published author of several books on project management and also how to pass the PMP® credential. He has been teaching project management since 2005 and has developed and delivered practical project management training from introductory level, to PMI credential examination preparation courses, to post graduate papers on project management.,

What really makes Sean unique is his dislike of jargon and his ability to explain and teach complex tools and techniques in an easy to understand, and apply, manner.

Sean has had a global consulting career and now lives in Christchurch, New Zealand. When he is not providing world class project management advice to his clients around the globe you will find him spending time with his family or playing guitar.
